Baladini was born in Sakara as an initiative of “Nawaya”. Baladini is a community kitchen for rural women to become artisanal food producers through the creation of high-quality, nutritious food. Our food is sourced from small-scale farmers, and profits are reinvested in educational programs.
“We believe better access to healthy and good food not only benefits local human and environmental health, but also deepens relationships to local traditions and increases overall quality of life. Our products are made from fresh, local ingredients, adhering as much as possible to standards of cleanliness and nutritional quality. Your purchase of Baladini products directly supports education programs for artisanal women food entrepreneurs in rural Egypt”.
